About Kingcroft Law APC

A multilingual boutique built for cross-border US–Asia families and businesses.

Our Story

Kingcroft Law was founded on a simple idea: clients navigating cross-border matters deserve legal and tax counsel that is clear, practical, and genuinely attentive. Our roots span China and California, and that perspective shapes how we serve families and founders who move assets, businesses, and lives across borders.

We provide the kind of focused, hands-on guidance that boutique firms rarely offer. Whether you're an entrepreneur relocating to Los Angeles, a family planning an estate across two countries, or a founder working to understand your tax exposure, we aim to be the firm you actually call.

Our practice centers on five areas: business advisory, tax, estate planning, immigration, and entertainment/IP. We advise in English and Mandarin Chinese, and we pay as much attention to the cultural context of a situation as to the legal details.

We are intentionally focused rather than sprawling. At Kingcroft Law, you work with a team that will know your name, understand your goals, and stay directly accountable for your results — from the first conversation through to the outcome.

The Kingcroft Approach

Kingcroft Law APC is a multilingual boutique law firm. We handle estate planning, business advisory, tax, immigration, and entertainment/IP for clients with feet in both the US and Asia. We structure US-side legal and tax matters and coordinate with local counsel abroad, so you get one accountable point of contact rather than a scatter of advisors who don't talk to each other.

What that means for you:

  • Clear, defensible advice you can act on, in your preferred language
  • A single team coordinating your legal and tax matters across borders
  • Flat-fee and retainer options so you know costs before we begin
  • Every recommendation reviewed and signed by a licensed attorney
AI-Native

An AI-Native Firm — Attorneys First

We are a law firm first. Every matter is directed and reviewed by a licensed attorney, and privilege and confidentiality govern everything we do. Within that framework, we use privately controlled AI tools to research faster, surface issues earlier, and prepare documents more precisely — so our attorneys spend their judgment where it matters most.

AI supports our attorneys. It never replaces their judgment, and it never sits between you and your lawyer.

Our Principles

Client-First Always

Your interests come before efficiency gains. We leverage legal technology to enhance service quality and responsiveness, not to replace the nuanced judgment that complex wealth situations demand.

Confidentiality Absolute

Client confidentiality comes first. Every tool is deployed with attorney-client privilege protection. Your sensitive financial information never trains external models and remains under strict professional oversight.

Human Judgment Final

Licensed attorneys review every recommendation, strategy, and filing. AI accelerates research and analysis—attorneys make decisions and sign their names to advice.

Cultural Intelligence

Cross-border service isn't just translating—it's understanding family dynamics, business customs, and decision-making frameworks across diverse cultures.

Transparent Economics

Fixed-fee arrangements for defined projects. Subscription models for ongoing advisory. No surprise bills, no value-billing games. You know costs before engagement begins.
